World Championship rower chooses Stand Up Paddle We had a great day on the river with Bobby Thatcher yesterday. Bobby has rowed in world championship and Olympic crews with James Cracknell and despite saying he is too small to be really good at rowing is still a powerful athlete. Having been a rower since he was 8 Bobby is no stranger to the water. Bobby has been looking for a sport to use as a cross training tool and something that he could combine his rowing and surfing skills. Bobby lives on the banks of the River Thames in London and with very little storage space he is totally sold on the Red Air inflatable SUP concept. We invited Bobby and his wife down to HQ for the weekend to go for a paddle. Here are some pictures of the paddle. A glorious Autumn day.
